The 2150’s sensor transmits a continuous ultrasonic wave and receives echoes returned by particles or air bubbles in the channel. The frequency shift of the returned echo is proportional to flow rate. The sensor probe has built in calibration for 3m (10ft) span at different temperature ranges. This factory set calibration eliminates drift in the level signal which provides long term level stability. This also completely eliminates the need for span recalibration and reduces recalibration frequency for the instrument.

There are many power options available for the 2150 (including solar). In the field it is typically powered by either Isco Rechargeable Lead-acid batteries, or 2 alkaline batteries in a 2191 battery module.  Power management in the 2150 is highly efficient, extending battery life up to 15 months at 15-minute data storage intervals.

The 2150 can be stacked with other Isco 2100 modules to provide a uniquely versatile flow monitoring system.

Isco 2101 Field Wizard

A rugged and durable on-site data retrieval module that provides on-site display of current readings, diagnostics, information about stored data, and more. IT allows the user to interrogate all 2100 flow modules in a stack at one time, storing up to 14 days’ data from up to 20 modules.

Isco 2102 Communication Module

Allows connection to the down-hole 2100 series flow modules without having to leave your vehicle. Digital spread-spectrum radio signals enable “drive-up” data retrieval, level calibration and system configuration with minimum power consumption. This is a “plug and play” device with no setup or interfacing required.

Flowlink Software

Provides unmatched data management, editing, analysis and advanced reporting and presentation options. Also has a variety of downloading and data handling options.

Off Site Communications

2103 Land-Line Modem Module

Provides two-way dial-up communications between 2100 modules and a PC running Flowlink Software. The 2103 has a dial-out feature that enables a text message to a cell phone or pager when alarm conditions are met.

2103c Cellular Modem Module

All the features of the 2103 with mobile network access. Data can be sent automatically via the internet (using economical 1xRTT packet switched transmission) to a server running Flowlink Pro Software.

2108 Analog Output Module

Provides current outputs for the 2150, allowing it to interface with SCADA/DCS or other secondary instrument systems.

Modbus

Digital RS232 Modubus output is also provided and can be used to interface with SCADA systems, external communications modules, or other devices.
